Demjansk shield
This campaign sleeve shield was awarded to Wehrmacht personnel who defended the Demyansk pocket on the Eastern Front in the early months of 1942. The award was established the 25th of april 1943.
It was worn on the left sleeve. When more campaign shields were received the earlier was worn above the later one.
