Description

18th century English playing cards

A facsimile of a deck printed in London ca. 1750 by an unknown printer, save for his initials “HC” which appear on the King of Hearts. The classic style of the face cards makes it a good representation of decks that were used in both Britain and the U.S.A. from the early 18th century through the late 19th century.
