Ordering

The product I want, isn’t in stock

Click on the product. Here, you will find the option to enter your e-mail address in order to get an alert as soon as the product is restocked.

How do I create an account?

Click on the “my account” tab at the top of the homepage. Here you will find the option to register. Enter your e-mail address to create an account.

I forgot my password

Click on the my account tab at the top of the home page. Under the logging in section, you will find the option to ask for a new password.

Do I need to have an account in order to make a purchase?

No, that is not necessary. You can check-out as a guest. But setting up an account provides easy access to your order, as well as quicker check-out next time.

How do I edit my account information?

Click on the “my account” tab at the top of the home page. Here you will find the option to change your account information.

Can you combine my orders?

Please e-mail to hi@re-enactmentshop.com. We will do our best. If an order has been sent already, no changes can be made.

How can I pay?

We offer the following payment options: Paypal, Bancontact, iDEAL, SOFORT Banking, EPS, Giropay, przelewy24 and bank transfer.

I need a copy of my invoice

You will find your invoice in your account. If you can’t find it, please e-mail to hi@re-enactmentshop.com.

How much is the shipping cost?

We ask for a contribution in the shipping cost of €4,99

When will my order ship?

Upon receipt of payment we will sent your order as soon as we can. Orders are sent several times per week by DPD.

Can you send my order through letter post?

Unfortunately we cannot offer this service any more. Letter post doesn’t have a tracking code and in the past this led sometimes to lost shipments. But we have lowered the shipping cost to € 4,99.

Can I pick up my order?

It’s possible to pick up your order on Fridays and Saturdays. Please make an appointment (hi@re-enactmentshop.com). We are open on fridays between 10 and 2 pm and saturdays between 10 and 12.

Do you ship to my country?

Yes, we can ship to all European countries.

What is the shipping cost?

Orders to the following countries are shipped with DPD. The shipping cost is € 15,00

Luxemburg, Germany, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Finland, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Sweden

Orders to the following countries are shipped with Postnl. The shipping cost is € 25,00

Canary Islands, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Monaco, Malta, San Marino, Vatican City

The shipping cost for other European destinations is € 30

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

It depends on the destination, but usually orders for Europe arrive within 5 working days.

How do I track my order?

Upon shipment you will automatically get a tracking e-mail from DPD or Postnl. If you haven’t received it, please e-mail to hi@re-enactmentshop.com and we will let you know.

Can you send my order through letter post?

Do I have to pay VAT?

Yes, we have to charge VAT. Unless you have a business with a VAT number. Enter this number in the check-out form and the VAT will be deducted automatically.

We do our best to ship worldwide.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Please allow at least 15 to 20 working days. Arrival time depends on distance and on how fast the customs are. So it may take a while.

You are welcome to arrange a pick up by a courrier of your choice. Please select the pick up option when checking out. We will let you know as soon as the parcel is ready for pick up.

How do I track my order?

You will receive a tracking code from Postnl as soon as the parcel has been sent. If not, please e-mail to hi@re-enactmentshop.com.

Do I have to pay VAT?

No, for orders outside the EU, the VAT is deducted automatically when you check out.

Help I have a problem with my order

My order never arrived.

Please allow a few days for us to process the order. Orders are sent several days per week and you will receive a tracking code. Please e-mail if you haven’t received the tracking code within 3 working days.

The tracking code shows ‘delivered’? Sometimes parcels are delivered to neighbours or placed on a dry spot for you to find when you get home.

Still nothing? Please e-mail to hi@re-enactmentshop.com and we will try to figure out a solution as soon as possible.

How do I return my product?

You changed your mind? That happens. Thank you for e-mailing us within 14 days that you are returning an item. We will let you know the return address as soon as possible. The shipping and return postage are not refundable.

Sorry, we can’t take back items that have been washed or used or that have been cut to size (e.g. lace, wool, soutache).

It’s the wrong size

It could be wise to let us know your chest width (for jackets and shirts) or your waist (for trousers), so next time we can send the right size.

An item is missing from my shipment

How do I clean wool garments?

Wash them as little as possible. Instead air the garment and brush off mudd and dirt. You will find that wool has self-cleaning properties, so usually this is sufficient.

If you have to wash the garment, use a detergent for wool clothing and use the cold water cycle of your washing machine. Lay out flat to dry.

How do I clean leather shoes?

Well, first be carefull in wet and muddy circumstances. Treat wet leather shoes carefully. First, remove dirt and sand. Stuff wet shoes with newspaper. Do not use heat and do not let them dry quickly, but slowly at room temperature.

Keep leather clean and use leather conditioner, polish and preserve or weatherproof products.

What is your environmental policy?

We do our best to run our business in a sustainable way. We seperate waiste streams, we re-use and recycle packing materials and try to buy as little plastic as possible.

If you travel by public transport: In front of Tilburg Central Station bus 450 from the company “De Lijn” to Turnhout leaves once in the hour. After about 40 minutes get off at the stop (halte) “Molenzicht”. Walk a couple of hundred meter back to Ravels-Eel (in the direction the bus came from) to find our shop on your right hand.

When can I visit your shop?
